No School – Today is the last day of the first nine weeks of school. Our teachers will be preparing grades for report cards tomorrow so hornets – you have no school! Enjoy your three-day weekend!!
Halloween Dance – Tonight is the big night!! Our first dance of the year begins at 5:30 in the Skyhawk Room. We are having a Halloween dance party, so wear your costumes and get ready to do the monster mash! We will have pizza, soda, and candy to buy and enjoy. There will also be a costume contest for the top three Halloween costumes. Hornets, remember that costumes cannot have a mask that completely covers the face and no weapon costume props are allowed.
Hornet Basketball – Basketball season is upon us and their first game is on Monday against Jo Lane Red at Jo Lane Middle School. The game bus will be leaving here at 3:00 and game time for the 7th grade team plays at 4:00, with the 8th graders playing immediately after.
Battle of the Books – Students in Battle of the Books are meeting today in Mrs. Lent’s room during lunch. Don’t forget to bring your notebooks!
Lego Robotics – There will be Lego Robotics Club meeting this afternoon in Mr. Kuntz’s room.
