New Elective – Interested in getting fit and having fun? Come by Mrs. Maloney’s office to sign up for Zumba as an elective quarter 3! Mrs. Mullins needs at least 40 students to sign up for this fun, Latin dance and aerobics inspired class! Zumba is NOT a replacement for PE, and any students who request Zumba as their elective, and are scheduled to take PE quarters 3 and 4, will have to take both classes.
Apples – Apples are now back on the breakfast menu. Please remember hornets that they are a fruit to be eaten and not an object to be thrown and wasted.
Holiday Trivia – Get ready to play some Holiday Trivia during the next two weeks starting Monday, December 10th!
Holiday Stations – It’s almost that time of year to sign up for our Holiday Stations that will be happening on Friday, the 21st – our last day before Christmas break. Stay tuned for more information about holiday stations sign ups next week!
Christmas Spirit! Christmas Spirit Week is coming the week of December 17th through the 21st. Let’s have some fun by dressing up for the holidays!

- Wednesday 12/19 – Ugly Sweater Day
- Thursday 12/20 – Christmas Morning (Jammies)
- Friday 12/21 – Flannel Friday (wear all your flannel!)
Christmas Dance – On Friday, December 14th, we will have our annual Christmas dance! The dance begins at 5:30 and ends at 7:30. There will be pizza and treats to buy and enjoy for a $1.00. Pictures with your own Grinch will be happening at the dance, too! Get ready to rock around the Christmas tree next Friday night!
Christmas Decorations – Shout out to Mrs. Smolensky’s craft class for making more Christmas chains for our halls! We appreciate all your hard work – and keep it up! Students, please remember to NOT jump up and touch the paper chains hanging in the halls. We want to be able to enjoy our halls filled with holiday cheer for the next two weeks before Christmas!
Bake Sale – Saturday, our students going to Washington D.C. will be having a bake sale from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Ray’s here in Myrtle Creek. There will be some great cookies and other amazing treats for sale!
Popcorn Sale – Today the MCE parents will be selling popcorn today during lunch in the Skyhawk room. Please remember to use your manners when purchasing your popcorn
