Battle of the Books – Your first official battle is tomorrow during lunch in Mrs. Lent’s room. Don’t forget to attend so we can prepare for the upcoming county competition!
Concession Stand – Lady hornet basketball players, the concession stand will be open for you immediately after school to purchase a drink and/or snacks before your basektball practice.
Homework Support – Don’t forget hornets that if you need help with assignments or homework – you can stay after school on Wednesdays from 1:20 to 2:25. The late bus is available should you need a ride home and our instructional assistants are available to work with you.
Winter Sports Photos – LifeTouch will be here on Monday, January 14th, to take pictures of our Coffenberry wrestling team and our girls basketball teams. Information and forms will be sent home with athletes soon but mark your calendar for sports pictures that day after school.
Word of the Week – Each day this week we have been talking about our word of the week – equality. Remember that equality is the same status, rights, and responsibilities for all the members of a society, group, or family. Former President Bill Clinton is quoted saying, “Our differences do matter, but our common humanity matters more.” In what we do or say throughout our day, let it all be done with the thoughtfulness that we are all equal.
