Wear Your Spirit Wednesday – Whether it’s a college shirt, Coffenberry shirt, or school color – make sure you are wearing your spirit sway on Wednesdays. When you show Mrs. Maloney your spirit at breakfast, she will hook you up with a sweet treat and our halls will be overflowing with Coffenberry pride.
Diamond Lake Trip – Who wants to go snow-tubing at Diamond Lake?? Then make sure you are on the honor roll this quarter. We have three weeks until the end of the second nine weeks of school and we want to take as many hornets as we can up to the snow at Diamond Lake to play and sled down their tubing hill! It’s amazing and it’s a winter event that you do NOT want to miss, but you HAVE to be on the honor roll to be able to make this trip. So study, turn in your assignments, and make sure your grades will get your name on that list!
8th Graders! Reaching Higher applications are pouring in! 8th graders make sure you get yours filled out and turned in by January 25th. You don’t want to miss out on this fantastic opportunity.
Buses – Hornets, just a couple of friendly reminders as you head down to the buses after school each day: walk, keep your hands, feet and other objects to yourself, stay on the ramp when walking down to the bus, and get to your bus quickly. Remember, if you don’t take a bus – there is no reason for you to be down below as other students are getting on their bus.
Wrestling Meet – The first wrestling meet of the season is today for our amazing hornet wrestling team at Fremont. This year looks to be an award winning season for our mat crew and we want to wish all of our athletics nothing but pins to win today! Good luck! Wrestlers, your bus will be leaving at 2:30 today and the first matches begin at 4:00pm.
Word of the Week – Our word of the week is integrity; which is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principals. Being honest and doing the right thing – even when noone is looking.
