Battle of the Books – Don’t forget book battlers – we will be meeting in Mrs. Lent’s room during lunch today.
Granola Bars – Students, please remember that you can now take TWO granola bars at breakfast. You can have one with breakfast and save the other one for your snack at break time. This will be great for you as we head into the Smarter Balance testing season! So take two!!
Valentine’s Dance – Guess what is only three weeks away?! Our annual Valentine’s Dance! It will be held February 8th from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk Room. This is a formal dance so dress your best! IT is also a Sadie Hawkins dance this year, so be brave girls because now it’s YOUR TURN to ask the boys.
8th Graders – If you have not filled out your Reaching Higher application yet – there is still time! This is a great opportunity for a great experience and we want as many 8th graders to be a part of it as possible. So, come up to the office and pick up the application. Paperwork is due to Ms. Smith by January 25th.
FBLA Project – Tomorrow the students in FLBA will be here in the library making mats for the homeless with all the bags that they have been collecting over the last few weeks. Everyone is welcome to come in and help out from 10am to 3pm, here in the Coffenberry library. Many hands make light work and this is a great opportunity to be a part of something bigger than yourself. So, please come and join us and bring some more plastic bags with you!
No School – Hornets, there will be no school on Monday, January 21st; as we will be honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Day. Enjoy your three-day weekend.
