Word of the Week – We are going to park on the word “respect” for the next couple of weeks; allowing it to really sink in and make a difference here on our campus. This morning, I would like to just read a couple of the contest entries to our “definition of respect” we held last week. 8th grader, Victor, says “respect is treating people the way they should be treated; with fairness and kindness. 6th grader, Draxton, says “respect is to be kind, friendly, helpful, and thoughtful – and to be mindful of other people around you.” So, as we start this new nine weeks of school, lets put in to practice what we KNOW about respect for ourselves and others.
