Whew! We made through the last week of February and the crazy snow storm of 2019! We are glad to be back in school and happy that everyone is here safe and sound. Now – let’s talk about what’s coming up this week!
SPRING PICTURES – Life touch will be here tomorrow for spring pictures. All students will have their photo taken and no money or order forms are needed up front. Just bring your bright smiles and dress up!
COFFENBERRY’S GOT TALENT! Are you singing, dancing, playing an instrument, or have a funny skit? What is your talent that you are sharing with us? Pick up your talent show application form up at the office. They are due back to the office or Ms. Edwards by Wednesday this week!
HKOP DENTAL LAB – Tomorrow the Healthy Kids Outreach Program will be here for a hands-on learning experience for our sixth grade students.
LOST AND FOUND – The items in the lost and found bin are laid out for a bit for you to go through today and see if any of these things might belong to you. Please don’t use that as a place to keep your binders or backpacks.
SNOW – Hornets, please do NOT play in the snow or throw snowballs. It’s really a safety and respect issue. We expect you to just keep moving along to your classes, and to/from lunch without causing an issue that may end up with you getting a consequence.
LADY HORNETS – Our lady hornets have a home game this afternoon against Sutherlin beginning at 4:00pm. Looking forward to seeing a lot of hornets in the stands today cheering on our basketball players and, as always, FBLA will have the concession stand running strong. Good luck today lady hornets!
WORD OF THE WEEK – Our word for this week is OPTIMISM. Well, that sounds a little complicated, right? Actually, it’s a very simple word that reminds us to always look on the bright side of things. It’s a feeling or belief that good things will happen in the future.
