SPRING SPIRIT WEEK – Today we are rocking the “twin” theme on campus! So that’s why you might be seeing “double” today! Tomorrow is “Black-Out Day” so wear all black – but don’t forget to add some crazy socks to the mix for to support Down Syndrome Awareness Day. Friday we are all going a little crazy wearing everything inside out, upside down, or backwards for Freaky Friday.

DISTRICT SPELLING BEE – Today is out district spelling bee! Good luck to Hurrsh Misstry and Jacob Villareal as they will be competing in today’s district spelling bee during 4th period.

UMPQUA VALLEY YOUTH ORCHESTRA – Registration and information forms are here at the office for students interested in being a part of the Umpqua Valley Youth Orchestra.

BLT – It’a Wednesday, which means we have Before Lunch Today! See you in gym after 4th period today and before lunch.

DRESS CODE – Just a reminder hornets, regardless of the wearther…everyone needs to make sure they are following our dress code. If you need clarification on what does or does not meet dress code, please see Mrs. Maloney.

DENTAL CLINIC – Today and tomorrow the Healthy Kids Outreach Program is here for dental clinics to day and tomorrow. Remember, if you get called down to the dental lab, you will be going to downstairs to PE Bennett’s Reading Rocks classroom.

KIDS IN THE KITCHEN – Don’t miss out on this new program from the Oregon State University Extension Unit! It’s call Kids in the Kitchen and if you are interested in becoming a chef and learning some great things in the kitchen – this is for you! Space is limited for this after-school program so get your name on the list and pick up a registeration for at the office.

TRACK SIGN-UPS! How do we know it’s track season…because Spring Break is next week! Make sure your name is on the track list and plan on meeting tomorrow during 7th period with your track coaches. It will be a quick informational meeting. Check with Peggy to make sure your athletic paperwork is up-to-date.

SPILLED MILK – Another reminder hornets that the milk needs to stay IN the cafeteria at breakfast and lunch. Do NOT bring the milks outside and dump them on the sidewalks on the way up to the main building. It is a mess, a waste of food, and in no way is respectful as a Coffenberry hornet. Please make better choices.

NO AFTER-SCHOOL TODAY! One more reminder, hornets…there is NO after-school help today. Our staff will be at a training this afternoon. All students are to go home at the 1:15 bell.

WHAT’S FOR LUNCH TODAY? Orange chicken over rice, or variety bar choices
