TRAILBLAZER TUESDAY!! It’s a big BIG game tonight for Oregon’s own Portland Trailblazers who are playing the Golden State Warriors tonight at 6:00pm – it’s been 19 years since the Blazers went to the Western Conference finals and this series will be a fun one to watch because brothers, Seth and Steph Curry, will be playing against each other for the first time in their professional carreers.
LAST DANCE! Friday night is out LAST DANCE of the school year and you do not want to miss it. It’s an 80’s theme with all the neon colors, leg warmers, valley girl talk, and big hair that you can muster! Admission to the dance is $4.00 or $3.00 with a student body card. There will be pizza, soda, water, and candy to buy to snack on, too! So you TOTALLY should be there or be totally square – DUH!
LIBRARY – Mrs. Gale’s summer reading program is still taking participants; stop by and sign-up with her. This is a great time to get a jump on those Battle of the Books reads. Also, all library books are due back to the library on May 31st.
FALL FOOTBALL – 6th and 7th boys that are interested in playing football next year here at Coffenberry can sign up on the wall by Peggy’s office.
FRESHMAN BOYS AND GIRLS BASKETBALL – Boys and girls who will be freshman next year at South Umpqua and plan on playing basketball – there will be an informational meeting on Thursday this week during lunch.
BAND CONCERT – Our Coffenberry musicians have their spring band concert this evening at 7:00pm. During 7th period, all band members in each of Mr. Soffer’s classes will need to meet in the today at 1:45pm. You will be release to go to the gym with an all-call.
