MEMORIAL DAY – There will be no school on Monday, May 27th, as we observe the Memorial Day holiday. Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.
PERMISSION SLIPS – 7th and 8th graders that still have not turned in your green or purple permission slip and money into Peggy – please make sure you get them in TODAY! Today is the deadline.
8TH GRADE ETS – 8th graders who are in ETS will be meeting with Jeremy today after 5th period in the library.
TRACK POOL PARTY – The track team will be celebrating the end of their successful track season with a pool party on June 12th from 1:30-3:30, at the Myrtle Creek Pool. You can pick-up a permission slip from the office or Mr. Nutter. Permission slips and $5 are due to Mr. Nutter by June 11th.
MR. SHELBY – Mr. Shelby from South Umpqua High School will be here on Tuesday in Mr. Kuntz’s room to go over scheduling for next year’s freshman. Please make it a priority to be at school on Tuesday
