HORNETS’ NEST – The FBLA Hornets’ Nest is now open during break time, selling goodies and snacks! Come and check it out!
SCHEDULE CHANGES – Any student who has questions about their class schedule can fill out a request to see Mrs. Maloney. These forms can be found next to her office door.
LADY HORNETS – This afternoon our lady hornet volleyball teams have their matches at home today against Fremont Gold. The 7th grade team will take the court at 4:00pm, with the 8th grade team playing immediately after. FBLA will have the concession stand open and serving snacks. Students are absolutely welcome to come back to the game at 4:00pm – but please remember that students need to leave campus at the 2:15 bell. Please be a respectful and responsbile middle school student at these events, as your behavior reflects on you, your school, your family, and community. We want to wish our 7th and 8th grade lady hornets the very best of luck this afternoon!!
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS – If you are interested in being a part of battle of the books this year, please get signed up with Mrs. Gale in the library. Our first meeting will be this Friday during lunch in Mrs. Lent’s room.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR – Our book fair will be starting Friday, September 20th and runs through the 27th. This is an awesome event where you can purchase the newest books, school supplies, posters and a lot of other items you will love. Be saving your money becuase it be here soon!
VENDING MACHINES – Just a reminder hornets, that the vending machine money is seperate from our Coffenberry money. If the vending machine “eats” your money, please let Shirley now and she will get your refund from the vender when he makes his delivery on most Tuesdays. Please only buy one item each visit. There are other students waiting in line to buy a snack, too. Do not buy two or three items at a time.
