APPLE WATCHES – Students, many of you have an Apple Watch and that is totally fine! However, it canNOT become a distraction in class with your learning. If you are finding that it is hard to ignore and becoming a distraction to you or others around you – put it in your locked locker or put it in the class parking lot. You are also welcome to bring it to the office for Shirley or Peggy to hold.
SUHS LITTLE CHEER – Registration forms are here at the office for students who would like to participate in the South Umpqua High School Little Cheer event. All the information you need is on the registration form and we would love to see some of our students cheer at the SU varsity basketball game on February 4th .
SPELLING BEE – Hornets, get your list of words in the library so you can BEE amazing in our spelling bee happening soon! See Mrs. Gale in the library if you are interested and remember – prizes are awarded for the county’s top spellers!
LANCER FOR A DAY – Come on 8th graders, get those Lancer for a Day forms in NOW! If you misplaced yours, come and get a new one. Our first event is coming soon!
SWEETHEART DANCE – Hornets, our annual Sweethearts Dance is coming soon on Thursday, February 13th. That right – you heard me right…it’s on a Thursday night this year. From 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk Room, you and your sweetie can dance and twirl, eat pizza and take photos at the photo booth, and have a memorable evening. Admission to the dance is $4.00 or $3.00 with a student body card. Food and photos are $1.00. Get yourself all fancied and let’s all have a sweet time together.
