September was a very full month. Your child is getting to know their new environment and making many new friends. We have spent a lot of time learning our classroom and school rules. Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible! Ask your child what that means at school.<\/p>\n

We have worked hard on learning our first five sounds: a, m, s, c, t. My students have been learning how to write the letters Cc, Oo and Aa. I am so<\/u> proud of them.<\/p>\n

We have started going to our school library. Our library day is Tuesday. The students will check out a book for one week. If a student loses their library book they will get a bill to pay for the purchase of a new book for the library. Please remember checking out library books is a privilege, always treat borrowed books with special care.<\/p>\n

This Month:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Special Day: Thursday, October 25th <\/sup>will be Teddy Bear Day in Canyonville Kindergarten. Each student is invited to bring their favorite teddy bear from home to school. We will be doing \u201cbear themed\u201d activities all day.<\/p>\n
