Spirit & Pride Shirts – During Reading Rocks today, you will be given an order form for you take home to your families to order Coffenberry t-shirts from Spirit & Pride. There are a few different styles to choose from so you can show you Hornet pride. Order forms can be turned into your Reading Rocks teacher and are due back to school by September 30, 2106.
Popcorn $ale – The Myrtle Creek Elementary parent group will be selling popcorn tomorrow during lunch time here in the Skyhawk Room. Popcorn is $.25 a bag. Flavored popcorn will be available for $.50 a bag. Please remember to Be Respectful and Be Responsible when buying your popcorn. You must use real money – WOW Bucks are not accepted as payment.
SUMO – South Umpqua Mat Organization will be having registration on Monday, October 3rd, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM! This is for both boy and girls who are interested in wrestling and being a part of a great organization. Information is available at Shirley’s office.
Volleyball Shirts – Students interested in purchasing a volleyball t-shirt, can pick up an order form in Shirley’s office. These shirts are really fun and if you dig volleyball – you are going to love these shirts!
Fall Fundraiser – Get those orders going hornets! We are raising money for our all-school field trip in the spring.
Fall Sports Pictures – The team and individual photos for the fall sports will be on Monday afternoon, September 19th. Please make sure you have your uniforms with you that day.
Lady Hornets – The lady hornets will be taking the court this afternoon here at home against Fremont Blue. Game time begins at 4:00 with the 7th grade team, and the 8th grade team will start immediately after. Students are welcome and encouraged to watch the game and show your school spirit. However, students must leave campus at the 2:15 bell and then return at 4:00 to watch the games. Students cannot hang out on campus unsupervised until games begin.
Believe in Your #Selfie – Okay Hornets, here is your mission. We have a new board up in the hall; a “selfie” wall. The mission is for each and every student and staff member at Coffenberry to take a selfie and email it to Peggy. You will also need an adjective or describing word to hashtag with your selfie. Like #athlete, #artistic, #hilarious, etc. Stop by the office to get Peggy’s email address to send your selfie and hashtag! Our goal is to get EVERYONE Hornet on campus on the wall – Believe in Your #Selfie!
