Volleyball Challenge – Today, during 6th and 7th period, the 8th grade volleyball team will be taking the court against our Coffenberry staff ! The cost to attend the volleyball game today is $1.00. The volleyball team is raising money to take part in a volleyball tournament on the coast this weekend. Please remember that only real money will get you into the game – not a WOW buck.
ETS College Search – Jeremy the ETS guy will be here Friday to pick up any final applications for the ETS program. It is a great way to learn about and get prepared for college. The applications are bright green on Shirley’s counter.
Battle of the Books – We will have our first meeting this Friday, October 7th in Mrs. Lent’s room during lunch. Please make sure you are signed up in the library so we can send you a 10 minute out to lunch early pass on Friday. See you there.
Friday at Tommy’s – On Friday, October 7th, all students will have the opportunity to pay 25 WOW Bucks to walk to Tommy’s and enjoy an ice cream treat! Please make sure you are saving those WOW bucks so you don’t miss out on this delicious treat. Those that do not have the WOW bucks to go will be staying behind. “How do I get WOW bucks?” you ask? – – By getting caught being Being Safe, Being Respectful, and Being Responsible.
Hornet Football – The 7th and 8th grade hornet football teams will be hitting the road and going to Cottage Grove today where they will take on the boys at Lincoln Middle School. The bus will be leaving here at 1:30 today to take the teams to Cottage Grove. Good luck to both of our Coffenberry
