Halloween Dance – Tomorrow night is our first dance of the school year! Here’s your chance to sport your Halloween costume before the 31st arrives and wear it to our Halloween Dance. The dance is from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Skyhawk room. There will be pizza, soda, and candy for sale to snack on. The scary smooth dance tunes will be spun by DJ FrankenSimpson. Hornets, please remember that even though you can wear your costume, you cannot have on a mask that covers your face or have with you any weapon-like props with your costume. Lets all have a scary good time tomorrow night!!
No School Friday – This is the last week of the first quarter of the school year. There will be no school this Friday so that your teachers can work on grades and your report cards.
Hornet Basketball – Today our hornet basketball teams will be having their first games of the season here at home! Tip off time for the 7th grade boys is 4:00 and the 8th grade boys will play immediately after. Students, you are welcome to come and watch the game and support our teams – however, you may not stay after school to just hang out until game time. Students need to leave campus after school and then come back for the basketball games. We want to wish our boys basketball team the best of luck today as they start their season off this afternoon.
Red Ribbon Week – Next week is “Red Ribbon” and each day we will have a theme to dress-up in support of being totally DRUG FREE! Monday: “Drugs are Scary” – wear your Halloween costume, Tuesday: “Lei Off Drugs” – wear Hawaiian, Wednesday: “Proud To Be Drug Free” – wear ALL red, Thursday: – “Drugs Make You Crazy” – wear crazy hair, socks, hats, etc., Friday: “Our School Chooses to be Drug Free” – wear your hornet colors…Black and Gold!
Lost & Found – Items in our lost & found bin will be laid out on tables in the main hall. Please make a point to stop to see if any of these lost clothing or shoe items might be yours.
