Holiday Spirit Week! – We may all be wearing green – but no grinches allowed! Good job wearing your holiday green today, hornets! Keep the spirit going… Wednesday is X-mas Morning so wear your jammies (appropriate please), Thursday is Santa’s Helper so wear your reindeer or elf gear, and Friday is  for your Ugly Christmas Sweater! Let’s continue to share our holiday spirit each day this week!

Badminton Championships – The badminton tournament continues today during lunch free time!

Spelling Bee – If you are interested in studying for our spelling bee this year, please pick up a list of words from Mrs. Gale in the library.

Lancer Way Bowling Day – Next week, during Christmas break, The Nickel Bowl is offering an opportunity to go bowling for $5.00 on Thursday, December 22nd, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. It’s a great way to get out and hang out with friends during Christmas break.

Lancer Way Sports Camps – SUHS with be holding a one-day sports camps for boys basketball on December 29th, from 1:00-4:00 at the high school gym. There will be a girls basketball camp on December 31st, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the high school gym. Flyers will be going home today and are available at the office. This is a great opportunity to have fun and play the Lancer Way.

Christmas Band Concert – Thursday evening, our beginning brass/woodwind and symphonic bands will be having their annual Christmas concert here in the Coffenberry gym at 5:30.

Boys’ Basketball – The boys’ hornet basketball teams have their last home game of the season tonight starting at 4:00 against Fremont Blue. Students are welcome to watch the game, but must not stay on campus until game time. Let’s make sure we show our school spirit and give the boys a big crowd during their games today! Good luck today hornets!

Lady Hornets Basketball – 7th and 8th grade girls who are interested in playing basketball can sign up at Peggy’s office.
