Hornet Wrestling – This afternoon, our hornet wrestlers will be hosting their last home wrestling meet of the season. If you haven’t watched them wrestle yet, you should check it out today; show your support and school spirit. The meet begins at 4:00 today against Fremont Middle School.

Valentine Dance – Friday night is our annual Valentine Dance from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk Room. The theme of the dance is a “Night in Italy” and Mrs. Mahler’s “creative expressions” class has been working hard on decorations for this event. Mr. Simpson will be our DJ, and Mrs. Lind & Mrs. Rainville will be our photo-shop crew. As always, there will be pizza, soda, and candy to buy for snacks. The cost of the dance is $4.00, $3.00 with your student body card, and $2.00 with a HHH card.

Valentine Candy-Grams – If you would like to buy your special someone or best buddy a candy-gram, Washington DC students will be selling them before first period and between classes from today until February 14th. The candy-grams are $1.00 each and will be delivered during Reading Rocks class each day.

Pizza Night! Tonight at the Pizza Palace, there will be a fundraiser for the students going to Washington DC. Part of the proceeds from Tuesday’s sales will go toward the students working at the Pizza Palace from 5:00pm to 8:00pm – serving, cleaning up, etc. This is a great way to spend some family time together and help the students that are making this trip in June. Please come and support them.

Minecraft Club – Students who are interested in signing up for Minecraft Club can do so outside Peggy’s office. Minecraft will meet on Mondays after school in Mrs. Mullins room.

Hand Sanitizer – Please remember to use the hand sanitizer when entering and leaving each class throughout the day.

Early Out! – The 8th grade class has won the privilege of leaving to lunch five minutes early starting today through February 17th. The 8th graders had the least amount of classmates absent in their grade the last two weeks and have earned this privilege. 6th and 7th graders need to step it up and be at school everyday – who’s going to win the “early out” next time??

What’s For Lunch Today? Soft beef taco with Spanish rice, hamburger bar, taco bar, or salad bar

Joke of the Day – Do skunks celebrate Valentine’s Day?…Sure! They’re very scent-imental!!
