Happy St. Patrick’s Day Hornets! Today is a classic Irish holiday that has become a part of American culture, as well. There truly was a Saint Patrick who lived in Ireland and become dear to the Irish people throughout the years. Today we celebrate the work he did in Ireland and his love for the Irish people and their culture. It’s sooo good to see everyone dressed up in their Irish finery! Legend has it that if you wear green, the leprachauns can’t pick on you. However, we can see all you sweet little hornets in your celebrated garb and I’m going to be choosing a boy and girl is each grade that has dressed up the best in the west for St. Patrick’s Day. Winners will be annouced during 4th period today!
