Friday’s Awards Assembly – During 7th period on Friday, we will have an awards assembly where we will annouce attendance winners for third quarter, and have the wrestling and girls basketball awards. To add to our assembly’s excitement, the 8th grade Lady Hornets will be taking the basketball court against our Hornet Wrestlers! It is going to be a fun afternoon and a great way to send everyone off into Spring Break. Wrestler, I hope you are bringing your game on Friday because I will tell you that the Lady Hornets are out to win on Friday.
Leukemia/Lymphoma Spirit Week – Today is Mis-matched day! We are choosing to NOT match up with Leukemia! Remember that Thursday is Pajama day and Friday is our hat day. Students can wear hats to school on Friday for the price of $1.00. All proceeds go towards the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. Speaking of raising funds…our Coin War is running a little slower than usual and I’m sure none of want to upset “Darth Quarter”. Bring in those coins!! Fill those boxes and let’s see which grade fills wins the coin war.
Headphones – Students, please remember to keep your headphones out of sight until you are OUT of the building. Students are not to wear their head phones around their necks. There should be no headphones in the hallway whatsoever.
What’s For Lunch Today? Chicken sandwich and variety bar choices. Teachers, please remember that there is no longer early release to lunch except for HHH card holders.
