8th Grade Photos – Class of 2021, your 8th grade pictures are today at 12:45! You will have both an individual photo and a class picture taken today. Say cheese!
PE Classes – Students in 5th and 7th period PE classes, you will be meeting in Mr. Bennett and Mr. Hubbard’s Reading Rocks classrooms today – the gym is being used for 8th grade photos.
Babe Ruth Baseball – Boys who are 13 years old and interested in playing Babe Ruth baseball can pick up a packet in the office. If you have the paperwork to play Babe Ruth filled out – please bring it to school and turn it in to Shirley no later than this Friday. Again – turn your Babe Ruth registeration forms in to Shirley.
Track Meet – Hornets tracksters, your first track meet of the year will be on Thursday in Winston!
Girls Night – Girls Night will be on Friday, April 21st, from 5:30 to 8:00pm in our Coffenberry gym. This is a night of fun events and girl time. There is a sign-up sheet at Shirley’s office for any girls interested in going.
Dental Days – The Healthy Outreach Program will be here during the first five classes today to finish follow-up appointments for students who were seen in the fall.
4th Quarter – We are at the beginning of the 4th quarter – a new nine weeks! This is your time to start over and do well! Make this last nine weeks of school count! Be here everyday. Get to class on time. Make sure you are prepared with the tools you need in class everyday – just like a carpenter needs his hammer and a doctor needs his stethascope – a student needs their pencil and binders. Let’s rock this new nine weeks, hornets!
Schedule Changes – You may pick up a “schedle change” slip from Shirley at the office. All changes are done by Mrs. Evans at her rate of speed – so don’t beat down her door. Schedule changes are available until Thursday afternoon.
