Summer Camps – The are some fun opportunities for students around South County this summer. Phoenix Charter School has a free 5-day camp where kids can learn highway construction, carpentry, and other trades. Saving Grace is hosting a Critter Camp that will include crafts, learning about animals, loving on animals, and other daily projects. Both of these camps have applications and information at Shirley’s office – stop by and pick one up.
Hey, hey, hey attention 6th and 7th graders…if you are interested in being an aide next year please stop by the office and fill out an application! Applications are due by FRIDAY of this week! Make sure you are being responsible, being safe, and being respectful! These are all of the qualities teachers look for in their aides!
Track Practice – Track practice will be held at the high school Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. Stay tuned for the announcement on which bus number to go to after school, and remember to have your grown-up pick you up from practice at the high school afterwards.
Beach Bash – Time to dance! Friday night in the Skyhawk Room, we will be having our last dance of the school year from 5:30 to 7:30. We will have pizza, pop, limbo, and maybe even a dance contest. Break out your sunglasses, flip-flops, and surfer shorts!
YEARBOOK – Make sure your yearbook order is in! The end of the year is almost here and you know you what your friends to sign that yearbook to remember all of your wonderful middle school memories. There were only 5 extra copies ordered so get your order in! Yearbooks are $20, see Peggy.
