Flag Crew – We want to recognize and congratulate those students who were chosen to be our flag crew this year; 8th graders Edward Ashby, Kristina McFarland, Chardai Nichols, and Jordan Stevenson – 7th graders Garrett Martin and Raiya Estupinian. The Coffenberry Flag Crew is a group of students that arrive early to campus in order to raise our state and national flags. It is an honor and prividege to be able to raise the flags and we appreciate their committment to doing this job each day at school.
Lady Hornets – The 7th and 8th grade girls volleyball teams will be heading to Winston this afternoon to take the court against the Winston Lady Warriors. Ladies your game bus will be leaving here at 3:00 today. Game time is at 4:00. Good luck girls!
Book Fair – The book fair is happening NOW! You can shop before school and between classes until 11:30 each day if you have your money ready. There are some amazing books and other fun things for sale. Don’t forget that family night is tomorrow evening! Dinner will be provided and some fun activities are planned, as well as the book fair! Family night is from 5:30 to 7:30pm tomorrow night. The book fair will be happening through the end of this week.
Breakfast – Hornets, please remember to clean up after yourselves at breakfast in the Skyhawk room each morning. Breakfast time is for getting yourselves ready for the day and fueling your brain and body with good food so you can have a successful day. Please do not engage in horseplay or run around in the cafeteria. Make sure you are making good choices with food and behavior each morning.
Pictures – Students who did NOT get their picture taken during registration day in August will have picture day on Friday. There is a list with the names of those students who did not get their photo taken. Students who’s parents are requesting picture retakes, will need to bring their previous picture packet with them for retakes on Friday.
