Language and Bus Behavior – It is sad to have to remiind our middle school students to behave safely and responsibly on the buses to and from school each day. The rules and expectations on the buses are to ensure that all students arrive safely to school on the bus and arrive home safely on the bus each day. If you are moving around from seat to seat and the bus has to stop suddenly – someone could get seriously hurt. If your voices on the buses are over the top and you cannot hear the bus driver – that is a serious issue. There could be an emergency or an announcement from the driver that you absolutely need to hear – but you won’t hear it becuase the voices are too crazy loud. Please stay seated. Please use quieter and respectful voices on the bus to and from school. Please stay seated at ALL times on the bus. Let’s talk about words. Words can be sweet, nice, kind, thoughtful, funny – but also horribly bad. We have students that are using language and words that just are not okay to use here on our middle school campus. It is offensive, inappropriate, and hurtful to the hearers whether you realize it or not. Please choose your words carefully before you say them. Speak words of encouragement and kindness to each other.
