MLK Day – There is no school on Monday next week. It is Martin Luther King Day. Martin Luther King Day is a federal holiday held on the third Monday of January. It celebrates the life and achievements of Dr. King, an influential American civil rights leader. He is most well-known for his campaigns to end racial segregation on public transport and for racial equality in the United States.
Stop the Drama! – Hornets, remember the three things we have been reviewing and talking about here on campus when it comes to drama! !1. Don’t AGREE with what you hear. 2. Don’t SAY rude things to other people. 3. Don’t SHARE what you have heard! Just because someone says something to you about someone else, doesn’t make it true and it doesn’t mean that you should run and tell someone else!
