End of 2nd Quarter – This is the last week of the second quarter and the first semester of school. Please take the time this week to finish strong by finishing and turning in your assignments and projects.
After School Help – Students who need help with assignments or time to get caught up on classwork may stay after school on Wednesdays in Room 13. There, the teaching assistants will be available to work with students and help you out. Students are not to stay after school any other day of the week unless your parent and teacher have made the arrangement with the teacher for you to do so.
Hornet Wrestling – Our first home wrestling tournament is this afternoon! Beginning at 4:00pm, our hornet wrestlers will take the mat against JoLane and Riddle. Students are welcome to attend the wrestling meet this afteroon and show their school spirit. However, it is important that spectators are respectful and kind to our visiting wrestling teams and their families. Let’s be a good host this afternoon and cheer on our hornet wrestlers!
Speakers/Earbuds – This is a reminder that personal portable speakers are no longer allowed at school and should be left at home. Earphones and earbuds are allowed only at breakfast and lunch. This is a safety issue because we need to be able to get your attention should there be an emergency. Please remember to keep your portable speakers at home and leave your earbuds in your locker or backpack.
