Grunge Plunge!! Hornets, let’s do something GREAT! Currently, we have $179 in our buckets for the Grunge Plunge which is THIS Saturday, March 17th at 10:00am. Here’s the deal….if you want to see Mrs. Lind, Mr. Liguore, Ms. Collins, Ms. McClean, or myself jump into a swimming pool full of “I don’t even want to know what” green stuff – you gotta put your money where you mouth is. How about instead of buying those snacks or beef sticks – you put a dollar in the grunge can. If everyone gives at least ONE DOLLAR – we can reach our goal and help the Myrtle Creek swimming pool get a splash pad. This will something that our whole community will be able to enjoy and you can say that you helped make it happen!
Art Club – If you love to draw, sketch, or paint then check this out! Art Club is something you may just want to be a part of! Art Club will take place on Tuesdays after school until 3:25 in Mrs. Mullins’ room – there is LIMITED space available so please make sure you sign up today.
Ceramics – If you had ceramics during 2nd quarter and have a project to pick-up – please get your project today during sixth or seventh period.
Wow Buck Store – The WOW Buck Store will now be open in the mornings on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. So get ready to save those WOW bucks and buy buy buy some really cool stuff!
8th Grade Pictures – CHEESE! 8th graders, Tim Barron will taking your spring pictures next Wednesday, March 21st in the morning. Look your best and get ready to smile bright!
No Late Bus – MCE does not have school today and there will be no buses for our students to take home at 2:30. Please make sure you have arrangements to get picked up if you are staying for “homeowork help” this afternoon.
Spring Sports – How do we know it’s baseball and track season? Because it’s raining! 6th graders, have you turned in your track paperwork yet? Remember, track practice begins on April 2nd, the day we return from Spring Break.
