Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards – Students who ride their bikes, scooters, and skateboards to school need to have a bike lock and lock them at the bike rack by the gym. It is a safety hazzard to have your transportation devices in the hall by the front door. Bike locks are available at MSK. Please do not bring your scooters or skateboard or hoverboards into the main building from now on.
Basektball Camp – Check out the basketball camp opportunity coming up this summer here in the Coffenberry gym for 8:30 to 12:00pm. There are flyers up at the office if you are interested.
Cheerleading Try-outs – South Umpqua HIgh School will be holding cheerleadng tryouts the last week of May. Cheer clinics are May 24 and 25, with try-outs on Friday, May 25th. Please pick up a cheerleading information flyer at the office if you are interested in trying out for cheerleading as a freshman next year.6
ORKA – Why are we doing ORKA? Being being kind matters. Getting caught being kind matters, and doing something kind for someone else and not yourself is extremely important. Everytime you notice kindness or are noticed being kind, your name goes into the drawing for the carnival we are having on June 7th – for the game Deal or No Deal.
MCE Campus – Students, please do NOT go near the 5th grade classrooms and the staff cars down at the MCE campus. Do not knock on the windows, chuck water bottles at the doors, cars, or windows. Be respectful of the students there and stay clear of that buillding please. We are getting calls from the elementary school and there is no reason for our students to go near that building or the staff cars there.
Last Dance – Get ready for a great time tonight at our last dance bash! The fun begins at 5:30 and ends at 7:30pm in the Skyhawk Room. There will be pizza, soda, water, and candy to buy and enjoy for $1.00. You can also buy and enjoy a piece of birthday cake for $1.00. There is “pin the tail on the donkey” to try your hand at for 4 tries for $1.00 (winners get a glowstick!) If you want to request a song to be played – you can do that for a $1.00, too! Tonight is our last dance of the school year hornets, and the very last dance for our 8th graders who will be freshman next year – let’s make it a big fun bash tonight!!
BOYS! – Stop peeing all over the floor in the gym bathroom! Our custodians are tired of mopping up. You are being extremely disrespectful and it is just downright gross!
