VETERANS DAY – There will be no school on Monday, November 11th. All schools and public offices are closed to recognize and honor all those who have served in our nation’s military past and present. Please remember to thank those who you know personally that have served our country in the military.
CANNED FOOD DRIVE – Look around at your first period class right now – did any one of your classmates bring in canned food for our competition? Did you?! The annual Canned Food Drive is happening now and our school goal is 1,000 non-perishable food items; such as soup, tuna, chili, macaroni and cheese, ramen noodles, etc. Bring your canned food donation to your first period classes. The first period class with those most food donated will win some fabulous prizes!! Keep track of how we are doing as a school by looking at the goal thermometer on the wall outside Peggy’s office. If we reach our goal of 1,000 – Ms. Smith gets decorated like an ice cream sundae!
HONOR ROLL – The honor roll slips are up and available at Peggy’s office. Stop by and see if you are on it and grab an honor roll sheet to take home to your family!
