DIAMON LAKE SLIPS – Students that received a permission slip to go to Diamond Lake on Friday, please remember that the signed permission slips are due back to the office TOMORROW! That’s Wednesday!! Not Thursday, not Friday morning before we leave – tomorrow!!

SCHEDULE CHANGES – If you are interested in talking with Mrs. Maloney about a change in your third quarter schedule, you can pick up a counseling ticket at her office. Again, this is no guarantee that your schedule will be changed, but you can talk with Mrs. Maloney about the possibility of a schedule change.

SWEETHEARTS DANCE – Next Thursday night, February 13th, is our annual Sweethearts Dance. We will be dancing under hearts and stars from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk Room. Yes, there is school on Friday the 14th and you will be required to be at school the next day after the dance. Admission to the dance is $4 or $3 with a student body card. There will be pizza, soda, candy, and pictures available for $1 each. Ms. Edwards will be taking requests for some fabulous tunes and the dress is semi-formal. Remember, we will be voting on the Sweetheart Court during the dance that night.

PE LOCKERS – Mr. Bennett wants to remind the students that had PE the first semester, but no longer during this second semester – to come and clean out your PE lockers today or tomorrow. Coach needs to use the locks and lockers for his new crew of students.

HOMEROOM – There will not be BLT tomorrow, but student will be meeting in their homeroom classes after 4th period on Wednesday.

GUM! This is a reminder, hornets, that GUM is a priviledge and needs to stay in your mouths and NOT on the floors, walls, tables, desks, and definitely NOT in the library! Please be responsible and throw your gum away in the trash cans when you are finished.

YELLING – Hornets there has been WAAAAY too much yelling and sceaming in the halls between classes and when students are going down to the buses in the afternoon. Please remember that yelling and screaming is not necessary. Especially, after school because it disrupts the elementary classes.
