SWEETHEARTS DANCE – Just a reminder that the Sweethearts Dance is one week from tonight in the Skyhawk Room from 5:30 to 7:30. Hornets, please do not think you need to run out and buy fancy dresses or suits – we want to you be comfortable and dress up if you want to – but it is not required. This will be a fun evening to be together at the dance before Valentine’s Day the next day. Admission to the dance is $4 or $3 with a student body card. Yes, you are required to come to school the next day and yes, you need to be at school on Thursday to attend the dance that night.
LADY HORNETS – Okay – TODAY the lady hornets have their home games here! Good gravy, against the fighting bulldogs from Sutherlin. Tip off time is at 4:00 for the 7th grade team and the 8th grade team will play immediately after. FBLA will be running the concession stand. Hornet students are reminded to be supportive and respectful during the sporting event.
SCHEDULE CHANGES – TODAY is the last day for schedule changes! If you would like to speak to Mrs. Maloney about a possible change in your third quarter schedule, please fill out a form at the office.
YELLING -It is not necessary or acceptable to be yelling the halls between classes and when students are walking down to the buses after school.
HOODS – Hoods on jackets and sweatshirts are not to be worn inside. They need to be 100% off your head, not just a little or half-way. If you are found not following this expectation, a call will be made home to your parents and an alternative cold weather garment may need to be found for you.
IMMUNIZATIONS – If you have gotten your immunizations and need to turn in paperwork to Shirley; please do so as soon as possible.
HORNETS’ NEST – If you are going to Diamond Lake tomorrow, don’t forget to stock up on snacks at the Hornets’ Nest in the morning. Ms. Edwards and her crew will have the Hornets’ Nest open and buzzing for business for you and your snacking needs before everyone heads up to the snow!
ONE MORE! – One more reminder hornets, school is required for you tomorrow if you are not going to Diamond Lake. Friday is not an elective day to attend – school is still in session.
