TRACK SIGN-UPS – It’s that time of year hornets! Track sign ups are happening now for students in the 6, 7, and 8th grades up by Peggy’s office on the wall. Remember to check with Peggy to see what athletic paperwork you might need. Track practice will begin when we return from Spring Break on March 30th.
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS – Students that are in Battle of the Books will be meeting with Mrs. Gale in Mrs. Lent’s room today during lunch. We also want to wish a few hornets the best of luck this weekend at the Regional Battle of the Books Tournament tomorrow – Stephen Hawthorne, Hope Spiering, McKenzie , and Amara Mata
SPRING SPIRIT WEEK – We have a fun and fabulous Spring Spirit Week next week! Get your spring gear ready because we are going to have loads of blooming fun! Here are your dress up days for next week – – –

8TH GRADE REACHING HIGHER – 8th graders that are a part of Reaching Higher – our UCC field trip is next week, March 12th. 8th graders must have a 2.0 GPA or higher as of progress reports this Friday. and no suspensions from February 1st until next Wednesday, March 11th, to be able to attend. Permission slips will be passed out to the eligible students this Friday.
SPRING FORWARD – We are moving our clocks forward an hour on Saturday night for Daylight Savings Time. This means our days will start to get longer
HEALTHY HABITS – Students – don’t share pencils, pens, earphones, food, or drinks! Remember to wash your hands often and sing the happy birthday song as you wash. Cell phones have a lot of germs on them, so please don’t pass your phone around to friends to share posts or photos.
