BATTLE OF THE BOOKS – This week the 8th grade Battle of the Books team will be meeting this Friday in Mrs. Lent’s room during lunch.
TEEN READ WEEK – Teen Read Week is NOW! This is a fun event to get all of your reading in and sharing some of your favorite books. There are prizes for participating and finishing your Teen Read Week packet this week. Also – ANY reading you do during this week will count towards your Teen Read Week tasks. All packets are due on Friday in your English classes. So get going and get reading!
RED RIBBON WEEK – Next week we are celebrating Red Ribbon Week here on campus! So get ready to dress up in each day’s theme as we support a drug-free campus and community! Monday is America Monday with red, white, and blue. Tuesdsay is Beauty and the Beast day so wear all your royal attire, Wednesday is Flower/Farmer day and you can wear your farming duds or flower petals, and Thursday is our classic annual Halloween costume day and hornets can wear their Halloween costumes. Just remember to not bring your prop weapons to school with your costume. Start planning with your friends and dress up each day all next week!
HORNET SHIRTS – We have Coffenberry hornet t-shirts and hoodies in the office. T-shirts are $12 and hoodies are $25.
DENTAL PAPERS – Hornets, you can turn in your dental papers to the office any time this week.
