BATTLE OF THE BOOKS – The 8th grade Battle of the Books team will be meeting in Mrs. Lent’s room today during lunch.
TEEN READ WEEK – Congratulations for all the effort you put into this year’s Teen Read Week. All packets are due today during your English class and Mrs. Gale will be getting those sweet prizes out to you for your participation. Good job hornets!
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FOOD – 7th and 8th grade students, please be more responsible and respectful of the breakfast and lunch food you get from the cafeteria each day. If you are found NOT to be following the expectations, you will be issued a lunch detention. Do not throw your garbage or food any place else but the trash cans.
RED RIBBON WEEK – Monday kicks off our Red Ribbon Week here at Coffenberry! Monday will be “America Monday” where you can sport all the red, white, and blue you can muster. You will be getting your Red Ribbon Week bracelets on Monday to wear all week. For a list of each day’s theme – check out the purple flyers in the halls.
END OF QUARTER – There will be no school Friday, October 30 or Monday, November 2. Next Friday is the end of the first quarter and the Monday is a training day for Coffenberry staff. You will have a four-day weekend to help celebrate Halloween. However, it is important to finish the first quarter strong!! Get those assignments in, hornets!
