Hornet families, at approximately 7:05 this morning – a man was seen walking through the back field of our campus with a backpack and what looked to be a rifle. We went into lockdown and pulled the kids into our buildings. It was confirmed with law inforcement who arrived on campus that it ws a fishing pole in his possession and NOT a rifle. We are NO LONGER IN LOCKDOWN. The police have detained the man for questioning. We are going to resume our day. Thank you for your support and patience with us every day..
