BASKETBALL SIGN-UPS – 7th and 8th grade students that would like to play Coffenberry basketball can sign up on the wall at Peggy’s office. Unlike track and wrestling, basketball is only for our 7th and 8th grade students.
YEARBOOKS – Peggy will gladly take your $10 for a yearbook order, if you have not already gotten your order in!
MASKS – The expectations for students and staff on the Coffenberry campus is to keep your mask up and over your nose and mouth. It is important for our students to follow the Oregon Department of Education’s guidelines regarding health and safety for all school in Oregon. Please be thoughful and wear your mask in the proper way.
COOKING CLASS – If you enjoy cooking and/or want to learn more about how to cook with some amazing and fresh ingredients; the Farm to School Food Program may be just want you need! Beginning in May, each week students will get a box of fresh, local produce from Valadez Farms with other ingredients. Then, student will participate in a Zoom class to learn how to prepare dishes from the food in the box. You can even create your own video from what you made and send it in! Come and sign up at the office and get a flyer with all the details.

FBLA STATE COMPETITION – We want to give a big shout and and congratulations to our own Coffenberry FLBA students who competed in the state Future Business Leaders of America compitition on Monday evening. Our students in FBLA this year have done an amazing job in their perspective catagories. Here are this year’s winners in the state:
In the Business Etiquette division – McKenzie McElmurry took 4th, Justin Woody took 5th, and Izzy Graviss took 10th.
In the Business Math & Financial Literacy division – Cassie Cope took 10th.
In the Career Exploration division – Kadence Austin took 9th and McKayla Firestone took 10th.
In the Community Service Project – Jocelyn Malone took 1st.
In the Elevator Speek division – Ruby Brink took 3rd and Marianna Valadez took 9th.
We want to also point out that Coffenberry Middle School was chosen for the Champion Chapter – Gold Level in the state of Oregon! Our school! Gold level in the state! That is HUGE and we couldn’t be prouder of you all and the hard work that each of you have put into FBLA this year!
