OPEN GYM – Coach TR is holding a basketball open gym for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls this week through Thursday. If you are interested in shooting hoops – meet in our Coffenberry gym from 4:00 to 5:00.

8TH GRADE SLIDE SHOW – 8th grade hornets, please make sure that you are finding and sending three appropriate photos of yourself to Ms. Edwards. She is creating a wonderful slide show for your 8th grade promotion ceremony in June. Please send the photos to her by Friday. If you need help doing it, just stop by the office and Peggy or Shirley can help you out.

LOCKS! It’s that time of year again, hornet crew! If you have a lock that you would like to turn in – please check it in with Shirley at the office. Please do not just say “here’s my lock!” and walk away. We need to make sure that the lock is properly checked in. Thank you so much!

ETS TODAY – Students involved with ETS are going to be able to meet with Jeremy today here on campus! It’s been a long time since you have been able to meet with him. So today at 12:55, I will do an all-call to realease you to meet with Jeremy in the library. The following students will be meeting with ETS; Kayti Bliss, Mollie Hagle, Jeremiah Foster, Michael Gomez, Josiah Killian, Neveah Pearson, Ivy Scroggins, Riley Vincent, and McKayla Firestone.

LIBRARY NEWS – All books are due back in their home in the library by Friday this week!

SUMMER CAMPS – There are three different summer camps that will beheld here on campus this summer that 6th and 7th graders are invited to register for. We will be having a space, a robotics, and an art camp and you can come and pick up a flyer to register. Please NOTE that we are only taking the first seven students for each camp that return their registration forms to Shirley.

NO SCHOOL MONDAY – Memorial Day is Monday, May 31st. Memorial Day commemorates the men and women who died while in the military service of their country, particularly those who died in battle or as a result of wounds sustained in battle. In other words, the purpose of Memorial Day is to memorialize the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. This is a state and federal holiday, therefore there will be no school on Monday.
