CHROMEBOOKS – Hornets, please make sure if you borrow a Chromebook from Ms. Chapman in the library – you return that device to her at the end of the school day. Make sure that you are bringing your Chromebook to and from school each day – charged and ready to do amazing classwork.
IPAD RAFFLE – Starting today, if you would like to enter the raffle to win and iPad, bring your Coffenberry cash to the office to buy a raffle ticket. You heard right! We are raffling off an iPad! How? When you earn Coffenberry cash during your Enrichment class. You can then buy a raffle ticket with each Coffenberry buck. One for one! The drawing for the iPad will be on Monday, November 1st. So hornets, you have plenty of time to earn that cash to buy raffle tickets. The more tickets you have in the can – the better chance you have of winning. Raffle tickets can be bought starting today during break time.
Want to just buy an iPad? Well, you can do that, too!! In order to purchase an iPad with your Coffenberry Cash, you need to have $250 Coffenberry bucks. Can it be done? YES! Just starting earning and saving!!
FALL-O-WEEN GRAMS – Fallo-O-Ween Grams will be going on sale next week during break starting next week! Fall-O-Ween grams are $1.25 and you can buy these scarey treats for your friends or someone special. Grams will be delivered on Thursday, October 28th.
RED RIBBON WEEK – It’s coming soon, hornets! Next week is our annual Red Ribbon Week where we all take a stand against drugs and alcohol. Every day of the week has it’s own special theme to dress up for to show your support. It all begin on Monday, October 18th.
Fall-O-Ween Dance – Our first dance of the school year will be on Friday, October 22nd from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk Room! It’s a Fallo-O-Ween themed dance, so costumes are a thing! Admission to the dance is $4. You will be able to have some great photos taken of you and your scarey crew at the photo booth, as well as buy snacks from the Black Lagoon Cafe. We want to remind you that while costumes are allowed, halloween masks that cover your whole face or prop weapons are not allowed.
LADY HORNET BASKETBALL – 7th and 8th grade girls that are interested in playing basketball can sign up at Peggy’s office. Tryouts will start Monday, October 18th in the Coffenberry gym from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
HORNET CHEERLEADING – Cheerleading is back for 7th and 8th graders here at Coffenberry! Open gym for cheer will start on Tuesday next week and run through Friday the 22nd, from 2:15 to 4:00pm in the Coffenberry gym. If you are interested, please sign up at Peggy’s office. Try-outs will start Monday, October 25th in the Coffenberry gym.
WINTER SPORTS – Boys basketball and wrestling will start after Christmas break on January 3, 2022.
