SHARE WHAT YOU CAN – It’s coming down to the wire hornets! Will Mr. Hannah get feathered? WILL we be able to have an all-school holiday carnival? It’s all up to you and you only have three more days to reach the goals. 2,000 cans get you a holiday carnival on the Friday we get out for Christmas break. 2,000 food items also gets Mr. Hannah feathered from head to toe. Here’s some extra incentive to get those cans or boxed food items in – when you bring in 2 food items you will get a ticket for a dollar off admission to the dance. So, turn your cans into the office this week until Thursday for a $1 off ticket!
WINTER WONDERLAND DANCE – The Winter Wonderland dance is happening on Friday night in the Skyhawk room from 5:30 to 7:30. There will be a photo booth, snack shack, hot chocolate/hot cider booth outside, and raffles for 50/50 and a movie basket filled with great stuff! Admission to the dance is $4.00. We will be rocking around the Christmas tree Friday night!
WRESTLING – Still thinking about signing up for wrestling? Well it’s not too late! Hornet wrestling is open to all three grades for boys and girls. See Peggy to sign up and check on your athletic paperwork.
BASKETBALL OPEN GYM – Hornet basketball open gym is happening tomorrow from 4:00 to 5:30pm in the Coffenberry gym for boys that have signed up to play basketball after Christmas break
HOMEWORK HELP – Don’t forget that Homework Help is available on Wednesdays after school from 1:25 to 2:25 in the library. If you need help on understanding assignments or time to work on a project – this is for you! Make sure you sign up at the office if you are planning to stay after school for Homework Help on Wednesday this week.
