OFFICE HOURS – During the month of June our office staff is here Monday through Thursday from 7am to 3pm. The Coffenberry office is closed the month of July.

FIRST DAYS OF SCHOOL 22-23! 6th grade only Monday, August 29th. 7th grade only Tuesday, August 30th. 8th grade only Wednesday, August 31st. All grades will have the Coffenberry campus and staff all to themselves where they will get their schedule, work on their lock/lockers, go to each of their classes, take a tour of the campus, learn expectations for various areas such as classrooms, halls, cafeteria, gym, restrooms, etc., and of course – have a fun first day with us!

REGISTRATION – Registration for the 22-23 school year will be August 3rd and 4th. Look for something to arrive in the mail 😉. We will have online registration, as well as a day or two for you to come in and get locker, bus, and athletic information. You can also purchase a fabulous Coffenberry hoody to start your school year off right!

FALL SPORTS – Coffenberry is now a part of the Far West Middle School League in athletics. What’s new about this? New schools to compete against and a little more traveling. Also, the first day of football and volleyball practice for 7th and 8th graders will be on Monday, August 29th. This is VERY different from the previous years! Students will be able to enjoy the majority of their August vacation without worrying about missing try-outs or practice – especially around fair time! Sports for 6th graders at Coffenberry is limited to cross country, wrestling, and track. Your 6th grader will need to have a sports phsyical to participate in these sports. Football, volleyball, and basketball are still through community clubs at the 6th grade level.

SPORTS PHYSICALS – Evergreen Family Medicine will be holding a FREE sports physical and wellness event at South Umpqua High School gym on Wednesday, August 10th and Thursday, August 11th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Sports physicals are good for two years, so check with your school to see if your student is due for a physical.
