CANNED FOOD DRIVE – It’s time to bring in those food items for our annual canned food drive with the Myrtle Creek Elks Lodge. Each grade level is challenged to bring in 300 cans – which is only about three food items per student. If the student body brings in 900 cans – students will be able to make Ms. Smith into a fabulous ice cream sundae. The grade level who brings in the most cans will win an ice cream sundae party. This is an easy challenge hornets. Let’s see how Ms. Smith looks covered in chocolate and whipped cream! At this time, 6th grade is ahead with 87 food items!
PAPER POPPERS – Students who are making and using paper poppers in the halls, classrooms, and outside areas need to STOP! This is a disruption to the learning environment and incites fear in our students. You will be issued a consequence if you are found doing this.
LOST AND FOUND – The Lost & Found is overflowing with items that belong to students. Please stop by and see if any of the coats, sweatshirts, or shirts might be yours.
NO SCHOOL FRIDAY – There will be no school on Friday due to the Veteran’s Day holiday.
