WACKY WEDNESDAY! – It’s a wacky Wednesday schedule today where lunch is after 5th period and we are going to have an informational assembly after 7th period today. So, please be mindful of the schedule today and the shorter class periods.
WINTER DANCE – Our annual holiday dance is Friday night, December 9th, from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk Room. The theme is Winter Night. There will be pizza and snacks, a photo booth, cake walk, and hopefully hot chocolate. The cost of the dance is $5.00.
HOLIDAY SPIRIT WEEK – Next week is our annual Holiday Spirit Week where we dress up each day in a different theme to help us kick off Christmas vacation. Monday is “Christmas Morning”, Tuesday is “Holiday Hat Day”, Wednesday is “Red & Green” Day, Thursday is “Santa Helper”, and Friday is “Ugly Sweater” Day.
CANNED FOOD DRIVE – Our canned food drive ends on Friday this week. NO CANS were brought in cans for the can drive Monday and Tuesday this week.
BOYS BASKETBALL/WRESTLING – Sign-ups for boys 7th and 8th grade basketball and wrestling for 6, 7, and 8 grades is happening now up at Peggy’s office. Remember hornets, that wrestling is open to boys and girls in all three grades here at Coffenberry.
BEAVER NATION – Take a moment today and check out the sweet Beaver Nation outfit that Mrs. Osborne is sporting today, due to the Ducks losing to the Beaver
BACKPACKS – Just another reminder hornets, that backpacks are NOT TO BE LEFT IN THE MAIN HALLWAY when you go to lunch. That’s why we have issued everyone a locker. Please make sure that you are using your locker to put your belongings in before you go to lunch.
BATHROOM ISSUES – We have been having some SERIOUS issues with students misusing the bathrooms. It needs to stop. Stop making unnecessary messes in the bathrooms. Students are NOT to have their cell phones out or in the bathroom – there are heaps of disgusting germs floating around in there and when you are using your cell phones, those germs are getting on your phone. The bathroom is a place to get your personal business done, not a place to mess up and do your social media.
