CHROMEBOOK CHARGERS – Hornets! The library is running out of chargers to loan out. You need to be responsible and charge your Chromebooks every single night! That includes taking care of the chargers. Don’t just shove them in bags and expect the wires not to bend.
MARCH OF DIMES COIN DRIVE – FBLA is hosting the March of Dimes Coin Drive beginning Tuesday, January 17th. Bring your coins in to your first period class each day. There will be first, second, and third place prizes – so go through your couch cushions, under furniture, and anywhere else you might find a nickel or dime. These coins matter!
NO SCHOOL MONDAY – The day commemorates the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who was a Baptist minister and prominent leader in the American civil rights movement. People are encouraged to use the day to “reflect on the principles of racial equality and nonviolent social change espoused by Dr. King.” The holiday is typically observed with events such as marches and rallies and speeches by politicians and civil rights leaders.
