4-DAY WEEKEND! There is no school tomorrow or on Monday, in honor of the Labor Day weekend. Why do we celebrate Labor Day? The holiday is rooted in the late nineteenth century, when labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being. So in short, we celebrate Labor Day to recognize all the hard work that Americans put into their jobs every single day. School is your first job, which means you get to have Labor Day off, too!
WHAT’S FOR LUNCH TODAY? Bean and cheese burrito, daily and variety bar choices.
