LADY HORNET BASKETBALL SIGN-UPS! Lady hornet basketball begins next week, so it’s time to sign-up to play at Peggy’s wall by her office. 7th and 8th grade girls can sign up. Practice will begin on Monday next week from 2:30 to 4:00.
HORNET FOOTBALL – Our 7th and 8th grade hornet football teams have their games at here at our home field today against Coquille. Game time is a little different today – kick-off is at 3:00pm.
CELL PHONES – Just a reminder hornets that there is no cell phone use from the beginning of class to the end of class and even when you leave class to go to the restroom. It is still class time. In the halls during classes, you should not be using your cell phone. If you are not feeling well, ask to come to the office to use your cell phone to call home. Do not message your grown-up during class time. The no cell phone rule applies to student aides in classrooms, as well.
CROSS COUNTRY – The cross country team will be having their meet today up at Stewart Park in Roseburg. Runners we will release you today with an all call at 12:30. Best of luck today – it’s a beautiful day for a cross county meet. Mr. Nutter’s small engine class will be meeting in his classroom in the main building.
HALLOWEEN DANCE – The Nightmare Before Christmas dance is next Thursday, October 26th, from 5:30 to 7:30 in our new and fabulous cafeteria. It’s a frightfully fabulous dance where you can wear your Halloween costume – but remember no masks or prop weapons are allowed. Admission to the dance is $5.00. There will be drinks, pizza, chips, and candy for sale, as well. There is a cake walk, wheel of fortune, face painting, photo booth, and costume contest. It’s going to be a great night.
RED RIBBON WEEK – Red Ribbon Week will begin next Wednesday, October 25th. So next Wednesday is Red Day, Thursday is Camping Day, Monday is Team Day, and Tuesday is Halloween Costume day. Plan on dressing up for each day’s theme!
