PINK OUT! Tomorrow we are wearing as much as we possibly can put for a HUGE Pink Out here on campus in support of breast cancer month during the month of October. From head to toe, get your pink out and put it on!
RED RIBBON WEEK – Beginning Monday next week, we will be having our annual Red Ribbon Week, which is an annual event in schools across the country to take a stand against drugs and commit to healthy lifestyles. So each day will have it’s own theme for you to dress up in to show your support and have a little fun!
- Monday is Pajama Day as we “wake up to a drug-free world”
- Tuesday is “Lei Off Drugs” with a tropical theme
- Wednesday wear ALL red as we are “Red-Y to say NO to drugs”
- Thursday we will be scaring away drugs with our Halloween costumes. (No masks or prop weapons with your costume is allowed at school or the dance Thursday night)
PUMPKIN PATCH DANCE – Our annual Halloween dance is next Thursday night from 5:30 to 7:30 in the cafeteria. Admission to the Pumpkin Patch Dance is $5.00. There will be pizza and snacks available to buy, a photo booth, and other great activities put on by our FBLA students. Hornets are allowed to wear costumes, but please remember that no masks or prop weapons with your costume are allowed at the dance. It’s going to be a SCARY good time!
ANIMATION STATION CLUB – Mrs. Norton has some exciting info for you! She is starting a club in November during Flex. Do you like drawing, creating, or making things move? Then you will want to join the Animation Station club! WAIT! What’s that?? We’ll be using cool apps to make our own cartoons, stop motion videos, and digital art. Come bring your ideas to life. Only 24 spots available. Stop by the office and sign up starting today! We will begin the club in November!
PICTURE RE-TAKE DAY! Next Wednesday, October 29th is ABSOLUTELY picture retake day! If you were not here on picture day in September, then it’s your turn! Students who need a retake can get their photos re-taken, as well.
