WINTER DANCE – Our annual dance in December is coming up on Friday, December 12th! This year’s theme is Northern Lights and will be from 5:30 to 7:30 and admission to the dance $5. FBLA will have the concessions rocking!
MOVIE NIGHT! FBLA will be hosting a movie night next Tuesday, December 9th, for our hornets. The live action movie “How to Train Your Dragon” will be shown for 6:00pm to 8:10pm in the gym. Doors open at 5:30pm. There will be food and drinks available to purchase. You can also buy a Coffenberry blanket for $20 and get a FREE pretzel or nachos and a drink! Please remember the expectations that there will be no “outside” food or drinks allowed and no bags. Students may NOT leave before the movie ends unless a parent comes to the door to pick them up and students will not be allowed
10 DAYS OF WINTER FUN! Beginning next week and until we leave for the winter break on December 19th, we are going to have TEN full days of themed holiday dress-up days! So, get your socks, sweater, tinsel, holiday, and winter garb all ready and check out the flyers at the office and in the halls. Our ten days of winter fun begins next week!!
HOLIDAY WRITING CHALLENGE – Ms. Chapman has an amazing holiday writing challenge happening right NOW! Write a holiday or winter poem, short story, or a letter to Santa from a favorite book character. All submissions are due by December 17th to the library. The winner will receive a Kindle Fire 7!!
BOYS BASKETBALL/WRESTLING – Sign-ups are now happening for boys basketball and hornet wrestling up at Peggy’s office. Boys basketball is open to boys in the 7th and 8th grade. Wrestling is open to both boys and girls in all three grades. Go get yourself signed-up, practices officially begin after winter break.
