CONGRATULATIONS! Some of our amazing 6th grade girls are on a basketball team and this past weekend – they won the championship at their season tournament! Congratulations to Kenzi Ireland, Kaya Jackson, Tyler Jenks, Madison McGrew, and Bailee Wilborn!
BOOK FAIR – The book fair is starting today!! Get ready to Read Around the World and take advantage of some great books to purchase and other fabulous items available. Each day this week, Ms. Chapman will draw four names from the English department that have been submitted through Book-It. The winners will receive a $5 certificate to spend at the Book Fair. Here are today’s four winners: Mylee Wright, Ranezmae Robinson, Kiegan Myers, and Tyler Jenks – come to the office to get your Book Bucks!
FAMILY NIGHT– Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30 is Family Night here at Coffenberry. There will be activities, games, and of course the book fair! Students must be accompanied by a adult family member and a fun dinner will be served to the first 200 people. It’s going to be a great evening to spend here on campus with your family, the Hornet staff, and the book fair.
TRACK SIGN-UPS! It’s TIIIMMMEEE! All 6, 7, and 8 grade students are welcome to sign-up for track on the wall outside Peggy’s office. Please remember to check in with Peggy to make sure you have your sports physical and athletic paperwork in.
REMINDER – Please do NOT prop the doors open at the gym. This is a safety and security issue. None of the doors in any of the Coffenberry buildlings should be propped open at any time during the school day.
