Hornet Football & Volleyball – This afternoon, both our lady Hornets and hornet football teams will be having their games here at home! There is plenty of opportunity to show you school spirit and come watch our athletes compete! The football teams will be going against the boys of Winston; 7th grade game begins at 4:00, with the 8th grade game starting immediately after. Our lady hornets are taking the courts against JoLane red. Again, the 7th grade game begins at 4:00 and the 8th grade team will play immediately after. Good luck to all of our amazing and motivated football and volleyball players today!!
Game Time – Students who plan on watching the games are to go home first at 2:15. Students are not allowed to stay after school until the games begin at 4:00 because there is no supervision.
Sports Pictures – Monday, September 19th are the fall sports team and individual pictures. 2:30-7th grade football, 3:00-8th grade volleyball, 3:15-7th volleyball, 3:30-8th grade football.
Fall Fundraiser – How are your sales coming? The fall catalog sale is still going on and we want to raise as much money as we can for our school-wide field trip in the spring. The fall fundraiser ends September 22nd, so you still have some time to sell, sell, sell!
Volleyball Shirts – Order forms are now available for the volleyball t-shirts the Lady Hornets are selling now. All ages and all grades are welcome to order. Order forms are in Shirley’s office.
DC Trip – There will be a Washington DC parent and promotion meeting on Wednesday, September 14th at 7:00 pm in Mrs. Mahler’s room. If you are truly interested in traveling on this fun and fabulous trip across the country, please plan to attend with your parents.
Robotics Club – Robotics Club will meet in Mr. Kuntz classroom after school on Thursday. We will get out the information and permission slips for new and returning members. You need to let parents know you will be staying after school and you should be able to ride the late bus home.
