Turquoise on Friday – Tomorrow we are asking our student body to wear the color turquoise in honor of Becka Carnes who lost her life last year on October 1st, during the tragedy at UCC. Becka was a student here at Coffenberry and a graduate of South Umpqua High School. Turquoise was Becka’s favorite color, so please help us show her family our support and wear as much turquoise as you can tomorrow.
Lady Hornet Volleyball – At 3:00 today, the Lady Hornets volleyball teams will be leaving for their games against Fremont. Good luck to our awesome Lady Hornets as they take the court against the Generals.
Spirit and Pride – Orders for t-shirts and sweatshirts from Spirit and Pride are due tomorrow. Please bring your order forms to Shirley
Calling Home – Students, if you are calling home and trying to get a hold of a parent or grandparent – please take the time to leave a message. It is hard to keep track of students calling from different areas on campus and why they are calling home.
Behavior at Buses – We are hearing that our hornets are not behaving in appropriate ways down at the afternoon buses. This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Please make sure you are keeping your hands to yourself, use appropriate language, and NO PDA at all! Remember that you are in front of elementary students and need to always set a good example.
Tardies – Hornets, this is a reminder that being tardy to class will not be tolerated. Make sure you are walking with a purpose to your next class and not stopping in the halls to chat. Going to your locker is totally fine, but spending time there to chat up your friends is not. Please, use your passing time wisely.
Book Fair – Just a reminder lads and lasses that the book fair is going to be winding down soon. So get your books and fun school supplies or posters while it is open today. Thank you to everyone who brought their crew to Family Night last night! It was a great turn-out from and we all had a great time! Well done, hornets!
